Individuals Managing Outsourced Projects
Situation
Large outsourcing contracts typically have sub-projects within the scope. These are assigned to different project managers, to work with the vendor. The individual managing a project may not be trained or experienced as a project manager, or in managing vendors.

Challenge
This inexperience can create risks to the project, the timelines, work quality, and problem-solving. It creates stress and an additional burden for the new project manager trying to figure out how to manage the situation. These employees often don not know what it is they have to know, and struggle with new demands they are not equipped to meet.

Experience
Our coaching, advice, workshop content and materials are all based on extensive research and experience with clients, as well as direct personal experience in project management, management of vendors within companies.
